LAD #37: FDR’s Executive Order 9066

FDR's executive order 9066 aim was to relocate all Japanese Americans into camps for American safety. This order authorized military to escort thousands of Japanese Americans into camps where they were forced to stay. People of similar ethnic backgrounds were sometimes also bunched in with Japanese Americans and forced to stay. He provided shelters, clothing, food, transportation and other supplies.This order was meant for protection but ended up being a disaster in the end as they faced horrible conditions in these camps.
