During December of 1941, the United States declared war on Japan. After the devastating attack of Pearl harbor there was no other choice but to declare war, as FDR said pearl harbor will be a date that will live in infamy. The attack caused destruction to the country and led everyone to be in great support against the Japanese, which pressured the government to declare war on Japan. Japan was out of control, therefor we were left with no other options.
