LAD/Blog #32: Wilson's 14 Points of Peace

After the great war ended European nations and the United States had to come up with a plan of recuperation. In January of 1918 Wilson gave his 14 points of peace which were heavily disagreed upon. He did not want to punish the Germans as he knew that would cause more issues, but European nations wanted the Germans to pay,  have restrictions and punish them. His 14 points of peace did not come across for this reason, and were ultimately a failure as only one went through in the Treaty of Versailles.
League of Nations was a result of one of his points
