This was a treaty signed by the US, and a lot of other world powers including Britain, Italy, France, Poland, Germany, Belgium and many more nations. The treaty's purpose was to encourage nations to work things out, instead of having more conflicts break out. This treaty was a failure, as any international agreement can only be successful if it has an international military to back it up, and since this treaty did not, it ended up being a failure rather than a success.
