During Wilson's first inaugural speech he starts by stating how a lot of aspects of the government have become democratic. He thinks this meant that the country was turning back on its traditions. He realizes that the States still needs to improve, even though many things were getting better. He also was a supporter of individual rights, more environmental support and reforming banks. He wanted to focus on improving every corner of the country.
