The Seneca Falls declaration of Sentiments was written at a women's convention, and was a small step for them to gain equal rights. Some of the rights listed that they wanted were the right to vote, owning their own property, etc. They wanted the removal of laws that made women seem lesser than men, and for the government to finally take a step in ending the sexist culture that was there. For the pre existing rights that were listed, they wanted men and women to be included, instead of just having men.
